Holy Cow, that is a huge list. About some beads I'm surprised to see them go, some not.

Why on earth would they retire the locks with pearl and glass in it?

Wow, I didn't expect it to be that much Shocked

I also think the old berries are nicer than the new ones, I'm sad they're leaving the collection. There are many beauties and "trollish" ones retiring this time Crying or Very sad

I agree PMJ, the aventurine should have stayed. I own some, but never enough, these beads differ a lot from light to dark.

Oh no - I'm new to this but the silver & gold 2+2 was on my dreamlist.

I definitely want to get two small berries but not sure what else...

We will have not any set of pink beads or turquose beads in the collection now. I hope they are making more in a next release.
I am shocked they dont retire one of the heart beads this time there is more come in the last releases. I am sad for berry ~ deco ~ plait and 2+2 I dont worry of the glass and I hope for new desins in pink

Honestly, what are they doing?
When I look at the list I can see many of my first and favourite beads:
small berry, cobra, art deco, plait, planet, 2+2, gold mocca, pearl lock, grey wolf....
To be replaced by flimsy beads, cutesy and suglasses? affraid
Another brick in the wall.

Mmm maybe i have to shop the small berries.quite strange that this one is going to leave the collection as they have just released a lock which looks like its twin. Sad to see the aventurine leave.
I think that the locks with stones en pearls are just to vunerable to make money with.

I have to say I'm a little surprised about the Turquoise kit retiring, it's always been popular.
I can see what the two locks are retiring, to many returns where the glass/ pearl fallen out.
Many beads have been replaced by a newer version and definitely lighter beads , less metal Mad

Hopefully TB are working on a way to have fancy locks with glass/stone/pearls on.A claw setting on the side perhaps? The claw itself could be soldered on?

That is definitely more than I expected Shocked but a lot of them I am not bothered to see go like the number cherubs, champion, team, spot and the jewel beads. I am surprised about 18k Cells, all the 18k letters, Light blue kit, green kit, Plait, Planet Big, 2+2, Silver with Garnets, Aventurine and Carved Flowers. There are a lot of really good Trollish style beads that are a real shame to see retire, I am not liking the direction TB's are continuing to follow Sad
The must haves for me is another carved flowers and silver with garnets, they are so versatile. 18k cells and 18k letters have been moved up much higher on my wish list.

Well, with all the sales and closeouts there have been over the past year, I do already have almost all of these beads, excepting the cherubs and the gold beads.

2+2 silver/gold is on my dreamlist, though. Now how am I going to justify buying it?

I just had a look at 2+2, both versions, NO, they are too expensive, I am not going to buy them, I should have done that much earlier, I think, I can manage without, dreamlist or no dreamlist...that is clearly too much!

I think that is a relative smallish bead, if I had to buy something now direction bicolor, there is so much more in a Happy Universe ..., that is probably the reason why I never got it, I always found the price for it grossly exaggerated, but it is a beautiful bead, no question! Smile

I bought 2 + 2 (bicolor) some years ago, when it was expensive, but affordable. The price at this moment is crazy. I could never pay that amount of money for just one tiny bead. But it is a gorgeous design, I guess TB made the decision to retire this bead because of the price. Only a few people are crazy enough to pay that much.
