Today's score via post and LD

YEAH!!! I'm so excited. Today I received my first new beads since my starter bracelet! :-) It was a great day!

Arrived in the mail:

• RBF Ubaldus Unicorn (MY FAVORITE from today!! He is SOOO CUTE ) from Macrow
  Tulip bead and book from jeweler in NL
  Fur Animal and Black Squirrel from Macrow

Hand picked at my LD:

• Fur Animal #2 (I wasn't that happy w/the mail order version, but this one was very nice, so couldn't pass it up. Now not sure if I can make myself return the other one, they are very different, but both have their qualities)
  Brown Desert
  Chocolate Parrot

Needless to say, I was a VERY happy camper today :-)



And here is the first combination I've made with the new beads. Was so happy to see how nice the Choc Parrot compliments the Blue Tiger Eye. It has some pretty blue swirls in it.

REALLY?? WOW I didn't even know that, and the funny thing is I got it for even CHEAPER than Glass 1, because I got it during Macrow's New Years day 25% off sale :-) :-) I can't believe my luck...and here I thought they sent me a "not so nice" fur animal. But I only thought that because it wasn't very "furry" :-) Not that I didn't like the bead.

I was thinking the same thing, that it was really a Clear Brown Braid.

And that's a very nice Chocolate Parrot, vibrant. Mine don't have that much blue.

You sure? i was at my LD last week to buy the brown glass kit but out of 10 fur animals (that all looks like your #2) I decided to pass because I wanted one that looks like your number 1.
All the 10 Fur animals at my LD also looked like your number 2 or brown braid.

You can never be 100% sure, I guess. All I know is now I have either two furs that look nothing alike (and that's OK, cuz I like them both), OR I have one fur and one clear brown braid, doesn't really matter to me
