Pic 1 - but those eyes are scary.

The rubies, hmmm definitely a bead to hand pick, I imagine there will be some fabulous beads to be found out there

The ring is really cute, but they should be done as earrings.

Those rock beads are interesting but should be in the $31 category. Feh

I went to my LD this morning for my first look at the Spring release and they had the Mother's Day beads there too. The Ruby Rocks were like dull Labradorite with pink splodges, they reminded me of very washed out Crazy Lace Agates. Very unattractive and very un-ruby like.
I also wasn't impressed with anything from the Spring release and for the first time ever left without buying anything. I couldn't believe how cheap, small and flimsy the silvers were with the exception of the large Butterfly which I thought was large and tacky. The only decent bead for size and weight was the Elderflowers. The glass, for me, was too garish or too dull. I was disappointed.

I prefer the lighter ruby rock with the pinkish colouring but think it would be best to save up and have one of the ruby beads if that is what you really want.

You are right. The six my LD had were very uninspiring.

My LD just opened her post. Her Ruby Rock sounds dull and nasty too - grey with vague pink splodges.

I find the ring cute in an artsy/folksy way but wouldn't spend for it. And sorry, but I find those stones ugly. Hopefully there are more attractive ones out there for those who are interested.

Seriously? How do they have the nerve to market the ruby rock using a picture of an almost entirely red bead and then actually produce those ugly things? So unfair to any mail order customers who do not manage to see any pictures aside from the 'official' ones.

I never buy beads when they first come out, for exactly this reason.

I saw 2 ruby rocks today, one was a bit of red and mostly grey but the other one was absolutely stunning! Almost fully red, I loved it but unfortunatly a little low on money

It will be a challenge to find a gorgeous ruby rock, but there should be some out there
The middle one is neat and could work in a pink + grey combo.

The chicken ring looks a child ring... The last silver collections have been really disappointing, I personally would suggest less beads but of a decent quality
