Spring beads

Spring?! Winter hasn't even started yet!
But I do see some nice beads, the faceted stone, the glitterly blue/green beads

I'm definitely excited to see a few of the beads in person. I think this is the first release since I started collecting that I've actually been interested in more than one bead!

Love the pueblo-like bead, possibly snake, the turquoise like stone and some of the glitter beads, especially turquoise colored that would work with the stone and maybe the black faceted bead... All in all, I like these a lot better than Christmas beads They remind me more of a fall release, which I loved (the glass part of it anyway). I wonder if the green stone is emerald... Ruby, sapphire and now emerald?

From the silvers I love the turtle, the fish and the swan, and from what I can see from the glass/stone, the turquoise one is definitely on my wish list.

Exciting, but where is my fox? Aren't there enough bunnies? Grumble, grumble.

What is the geuss for the erotic lady?

Is it Adam and Eve? Lady of Shalott? or is what some other?

Several of the animal silvers look like they'd look great on a fantasy necklace because then they'd be upright. Besides the Pueblo-ish silver there's a silver gearish-looking wheel (behind the ruby Xmas bulb with the falcon head) that looks very intriguing. Excited about a turquoise stone!

Now I can see the erotic Lady.... when you flip the image upside down you can see her... with what looks like butterfly wings... so maybe a fairy....

Oh I doubt it, but Please let TB make an emerald bead! It can't be possible, new birds and an emerald, would be like my dream come true!

I admire the new beads that have the silver on top and the faceted stone on the bottom. Not sure if I will rush out to get them, though. I have no idea what was on the white-ish stone. All in good time. I am still very behind in my glass wishlist in regards to production beads. I am at least three kits behind. So, no rush. I am trying to avoid animal beads to some extent, so this is a good release for me (although I love the look of the camel, if I could only buy one animal it may be him). I like the stone and the overall look of the glass, though.

I think they're making a play for the Arabic market.

I think this release looks amazing too. Am loving the tortoise and the fish in particular. I personally would have preferred a bactrian camel (not seated on a glass ball) - not sure why they went with the dromedary instead... sigh. For the rest though I find the release very intriguing and am already excited to see it IRL!  

I love these (though I try not to look too much, as it is not winter yet... ). I especially am excited about the falcon (I hope it is a falcon and not a parrot , for this will work beautifully with the Lady Freya´s bracelet I am planning  

I wonder, if the very early preview could have an influence on the Christmas sales?

I guess it will influence the sales somehow. One of the LD's I visit once in a while told me that nowadays the buying behaviour of customers had changed dramatically, people only are interested in the latest release and, where most customers used to buy 3, 4 or more beads, now most customers only bought one bead from the latest release. Because of this, the owner of this shop told me that from now on, he would only focus on new beads, and tried to get rid of old stock as soon as possible (he was having a sale on older items, but also beads from 1 or 2 releases ago, as there was no interest any more for it).

On the other hand, I wonder how many people nowadays only buy beads 'just because they want them', but not because they love them. I think you only buy a bead (or 2, 3, or more) because you like it/love it, and some releases are great, but other releases aren't, and this reason will be the most important one that can influence if a release becomes a success or not I think.

I really like the new release.Glitters beads makes me think a lot about Anne Meigborg glitter beads. I really like them they look very "fresh" and different.

I actually liked that bunny.  

It isn't anywhere near the top of my wish list, but it may eventually make it's way into my bead box.
