Re: how to polish silver?
On the polishing cloth, you will see that one side is a bit rougher. Use that to polish and the softer side to buff the beads to desired shine. You will get a workout!
You can use liquid cleaners made for silver, but it will take away the oxidation. Depends on what you are going for, I guess.
Afterwards, you need to prevent tarnish so I highly recommend http://www.silverguard.com
. They have pouches or the fabric. I purchased the fabric and lined my bead box and bottom jewelry drawer.
As always, do not use cleanser on gemstones.

If I have beads stamped "soren" I don't want to polish that, right? It will come off?

You can softly polish, I think you would have to be trying to polish your way to heaven to erase a stamp.
