Yesterday, the doorbell rang - and I received a DHL package, which had been X-ray'ed Shocked Does anyone know whether this is standard procedure?

When unpacking the package I found a nice card and a little box:

Inside the box was a surprice wrapping too, a butterfly - and I think it is homemade. Very creative Exclamation

The blue armadillo has two small chips near the core, but otherwise it is a fine old small bead with a small core:

Thank you, Titiana, for sending the small blue armadillo across the world to me Very Happy

What beautiful packaging for a beautiful bead!

I've never had a package that was noted that it had been xrayed, but I have had one that was opened with the bead torn out of the tissue paper and then stuffed back into the envelope and taped shut with a note stating that it had been opened and inspected by US Customs. I'm not sure what kind of contraband they thought they would find in a 3x5 inch envelope.
